A Braeloch Wedding - Caroline & Alex

Caroline & Alex are just the sweetest couple. They are so caring and welcomed us into their day so well. We felt like family as they were checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. It was a feeling that carried us through their emotional, love-filled wedding day!

Caroline & Alex’s Braeloch wedding in Vinton, VA was classic, timeless, and oh so elegant. It was a hot day but the breeze kept us happy and comfortable. Their bridal party was so fun and rallied around the couple, keeping the energy and love flowing all day long. The color palette and elegant bridesmaid dresses may be one of my all time favorites - with the patterns and textures that complemented their summer day so well.

The bride had a first look with dad, her brothers, and the groom. Her brothers were so emotional; it was an incredibly sweet moment to capture. One of the bride’s brothers officiated the ceremony and teared up a few times. The other brother spoke during the ceremony and was also emotional. Cue the tears from everyone — even the couple! (and me!)

The venue grounds have amazing, breathtaking sunset views and we had a beautiful, golden evening light for bride & groom portraits. These photos are my favorite from the day!

Caroline changed into a reception dress - which is always a hit and fun surpise! The bows were perfection (I’m a bow lover!!). The recepetion toasts were all super emotional - especially the father of the bride’s toast. Their first dances were all emotional and sweet as well.

Overall a VERY emotional wedding that reflected just how much everyone loves the bride and groom! After dinner the dance floor filled up and they danced with friends and family members. Everyone had a fun time. The night ended with a private last dance between the newlyweds before a fun bubble exit!
