Culture
I grew up in southern VA and have always loved each time visiting Central VA! Charlottesville is such a community focused city that is just beautiful! The downtown area is full of culture - a good mix of modern and historical. Outside of the city - the loving community is always there to rally.
Weather
If you’re a fan of seasons like me, then you’ve found the right spot! You can’t go wrong with any season here in Central Virginia. Fall is especially beautiful in Virginia, with the foliage peeking through the mountains. And summers have a beautiful calm glow about them.

Recommended Wedding Venues in Central VA
West Manor Estate
West Manor Estate is conveniently located in Lynchburg. The Manor House is absolutely stunning with a round driveway leading up - a great first impression for guests. The estate has so many different spots that are just beautiful. They have a Glass Atrium which is spectacular for ceremonies with natural light, but still protected from nature. There is a courtyard with boxwoods that is beautiful, a gazebo for ceremonies and a private dance, a ballroom perfectly set for dinners, and so much more. The venue is easy for guests to get around, but unique and let’s them explore!

The Seclusion
The Seclusion is an amazing venue located in Lexington VA. When I say this venue is one of a kind - it is! The big white luxurious barn is just perfection. Everything is new and updated. The bridal suite is cozy with a balcony that overlooks the reception space. The ceremony space has the most beautiful mountain views (catch it in the fall - perfection!) The aisle and ceremony space have stone that contrast against the mountains. There are little fire pits and outdoor seating as well as a covered patio perfect for cocktail hour. The inside has a big stone fireplace as the main focal point. It is large, tall ceilings, great furnishings and ready for you to make it yours!

Glass Hill Venue
Glass Hill Venue is located in the mountains of Bedford VA. This venue is just stunning and the guests are always wowed by the views (especially at sunset). The bridal suite is beautiful with white walls, a large mirror and a getting ready bar area as well. The groom’s getting ready cabin has recently been renovated and is so nice! The ceremony views are just beautiful - the arbor peeks right into the mountain views and the path leading there is perfect for guests to walk on. The indoor space is so perfect for receptions, but provides a lovely space for an indoor ceremony option as well with the large fireplace and wood beams on the ceiling. The staff here is also so amazing to work with!
