A Taubman Museum Wedding - Hannah & Craig

Hannah & Craig’s wedding was beyond amazing start to finish! Classy and modern, but also JOYOUS and fun! Seriously, their genuine happiness to be getting married with adoring friends and family at their side was so sweet - and that joyful feeling truly permeated the entire day.

The bride wanted all black & white details - which felt sophisticated and classic! Her dress and veil were custom made by one of her bridesmaids, who like Hannah is also a fashion designer in NYC, and included block letters as an homage Haley Beiber’s iconic wedding veil. The bridesmaids wore short white dresses with feathers and fun details. The groom sported a GREAT white jacket and groomsmen donned custom bow ties.

Their wedding ceremony was at Charter Hall, a fantastic event space in Roanoke, Virginia. It was very sweet and romantic with several speakers, singers, and personal touches - lots of feathery white floral arrangements. Once they were officially husband and wife they shared the sweetest dip kiss exit - SO romantic!

We took wedding portraits with the newlyweds in Downtown Roanoke - many with Hannah’s white Toyota Corolla. She’s had it forever and they absolutely love that car!

We then headed to their reception venue - the Taubman Museum of Art - and did some bridal party photos on the rooftop that turned out stunning with several gorgeous, classic Roanoke views. It was sooo windy which made for such fun, flowy veil shots as well! Sunglasses photos were such a fun touch that everyone enjoyed.

The reception was amazing with a modern but classy vibe with tall, dramatic floral arrangements, delicious food, and a perfect staircase entrance. They had a live band and DJ which made for a non stop party (it was a PARTY!). Hannah did her first dance with dad and Craig had his first dance with mom - and they even brought in his grandma for a second! How sweet!

Hannah & Craig’s first dance had a special surprise - Craig tore the skirt off Hannah’s dress to reveal her satin silhouette reception dress; The perfect mix of fun and elegant. Friends and family partied all night and enjoyed a late night snack of popcorn & lemonade. The newlyweds ended the night with crowd surfing, put on personal concert, and a lovely sparkler exit.
