Blacksburg Lifestyle Newborn Session

This newborn portrait session was extra special to me - My sister (and family) have welcomed a new family member into our hearts: my new niece Molly!

Molly is the cutest little baby. Big sister Mia is so sweet with her. She is thriving in he new role, showing so much love and excitement for her new little sister! My favorite part of newborn photo sessions is capturing all the new baby features - feet, hands, hair, lips, - they grow SO fast and I want to remember every tiny detail.

Molly’s nursery is gorgeous, especially the dreamy wallpaper. It gives the space so much personality and photographed like a dream. An outfit change for baby is always a good idea as it’s an easy way to get some variety in your newborn photos!

Most of all, I love documenting growing families in the comfort of their homes; the kids are comfortable, you have everything you need, and everyone can stay relaxed. It feels so natural and authentic, and really comes across in the family photos!
