A Blacksburg Maternity Session - Julia & Zack

Julia & Zack expecting a baby girl! I am so excited for them. I feel a special connection to this couple because Zack ( the dad-to-be) is the son of my teaching mentor (from back when I was teaching) - we’re basically family! ;)

We had our session together outdoors in scenic Blacksburg, Virginia. It was a beautiful day. Mom & Dad brought ultrasound images to include - which is always sweet!

Julia was absolutely glowing. My number one professional photographer tip for great maternity photos is making sure mom wears an outfit that makes her feel comfortable. This will cut stress and make for beautiful, natural, memorable portraits!

Zack & Julia were able to really embrace this time in their lives - and I loved being able to capture this season for them.
