A Hidden Valley Country Club Wedding

Robyn & Adam’s wedding at Hidden Valley Country Club in Salem, Virginia was bright, bold, and absolutely beautiful! They wanted a very intimate wedding and only had their closest family and a few friends in attendance, followed by a lovely dinner reception. They truly knocked it out of the park. It was a very family oriented affair; they had asked everyone to wear fall colors and guests did not disappoint - it made for gorgeous wedding photos!

The venue is on a golf course which was so pretty - we had so much open space to work with and gorgeous golden light coming through the fall trees - everyone was talking about how perfect it was!

I love how this couple styled their wedding day. The florals were absolutely gorgeous, and the arbor made on the grounds for the ceremony was so unique and pretty. The color palette at this wedding was very high style - bold and rich jewel tones - so dreamy and regal!

I LOVED the groom’s deep purple suit color; It perfectly mirrored his personality. Robyn’s wedding gown was absolutely perfect- so romantic and her veil was the cherry on top.

Robyn did a first look with her groom, followed by a drink and strawberries at the bar. The bride also opted for a first look with mom and dad, which was such a sweet moment to capture!

Their wedding ceremony was very intimate and relaxed. Bubble boys walked down the aisle to get the laughs going and the couple was cracking jokes and chatting through the whole thing. It was so sweet and fun. Afterwards everyone enjoyed champagne toasts (sparkling cider toasts for the kiddos!), and the newlyweds enjoyed their first dance under the night sky - very romantic and sweet. Everyone danced and had a magical evening celebrating the union!

I was nervous about choosing the right photographer who could help capture nice photos of my camera-hating fiancé and I. My wish list was long but Kaytlin exceeded EVERY expectation. She was a calm and reassuring vendor partner on a very busy, exciting day, and I felt comfortable with she and her second shooter immediately. She really went above and beyond all day and captured everything we wanted despite our being late. Then after the wedding, we had 10 sneak peeks in a day and almost 100 before we got back from our honeymoon! I truly cannot recommend Kaytlin enough and look forward to having her hopefully capture future life moments for our family. My friend actually put a deposit on a photographer for her wedding but when she saw my photos she immediately booked Kaytlin instead!
