A Surprise Proposal - Tara & Evan

The best part about this surprise proposal is that Tara is my sister in law! She and Evan have been dating for about a year when he asked me to help him plan this day. He already had a ring and knew he wanted to surprise her with her dream proposal. When I asked him what he was envisioning he said he knew he wanted a lot of flowers and trees. After brainstorming we landed on this gorgeous blooming park in Roanoke.

Tara knew they were coming for a photo session - I told her I had a new spot I wanted to test out, but the proposal was a surprise. Tara’s parents came with me to help set up and brought champagne for afterwards. It took a lot of hiding, last minute changes, and laughter, but we pulled this off and it was absolutely amazing! I can’t wait for their wedding next year!
