A Shenandoah Club Wedding - Victoria & Marc

b&g (46).jpg

This wedding was so special for me to capture! I went to high school and college with Marc (the groom) and we are great friends! Victoria is the perfect fit for him and together they are just the sweetest. From the gorgeous ceremony at St. Johns to the reception, there were so many sweet moments over the course of their special day, it was hard to narrow down photos for the blog!

Before the ceremony, we actually did three first looks - all were emotional. Victoria’s brother’s reaction was absolutely precious and had everyone in tears. Me included!

A quintessential Virginia wedding, the day was filled with so much joy. Hues of blue, pinks, and whites made the day feel so fresh and beautiful. For the first time since the Covid era, guests were able to enjoy dancing at the reception at The Shenandoah Club. Everyone was enjoying themselves, relaxing and just having fun. The dance floor was busy and filled with laughter and several toasts from friends and family had tears flowing through the reception.

I wish I could relive this day! They were kind enough to leave me a glowing review:

Kaytlin has been wonderful to work with. My now husband and I met with her in 2019 to plan our wedding, with plans for May 2020. She did our engagement photos and was so personable, and very flexible with us! She is very easy going and helped both my husband and I feel relaxed and fun during our photos. When rescheduling our wedding (twice) during the pandemic, she as easy to reach and open to the changes. She maintained contact with me throughout and also helped me develop my timeline. The day of the wedding she and her 2nd shooter were so fun to be around and also helped us feel more relaxed. Honestly, I barely knew she was there during the ceremony and reception. I have received my wedding photos now and there are so many to choose from, it's hard to decide what I want to post and print. She took so many candid photos with all of our loved ones, but also so many of the wedding party. She and her second shooter went through the photo list efficiently (as I asked) after the wedding so my husband and I could have some time at the cocktail party. I would 100% recommend Kaytlin for any type of event, and can't wait to use her as our lives progress!
