Beliveau Farm Winery Wedding Blacksburg

Megan and Cody had such a beautiful fall wedding day at Beliveau Winery in Blacksburg. This couple is so fun and so kind I had the best time capturing their love story in the beautiful vineyards amongst the scenic mountains of Southwest Virginia.

The bride and groom enjoyed a beautiful fall day with amazing weather. It was VERY windy but we made the most of the elements with stunning wedding portraits playing up her veil in the breeze.

The couple’s first look was a very intimate experience and included a private vow reading prior to ceremony . I love the idea of couples reading their vows to each other in private.

Megan’s wedding flowers were simply GORGEOUS , I loved the fun pops of color, and they suited the vineyard setting so well! She really had such an attention to detail throughout the whole day - little pockets of meaning from start to finish.

The couple also brought a guest of honor - their pup!! This is always my favorite. He walked down the aisle greeting all the guests and we took some family photos with him as well. It was the cutest.

The bridal party was so meaningful as well and both the bride and groom each chose their sisters to stand up beside them. It was very intimate, special, and sweet.

Their family truly welcomed us in as one of them on the day. Everyone was so kind and fun and just made us feel so included.

Story of the day: to get to the wedding venue you have to drive through very CURVY backroads in the mountains. The shuttle bus got stuck and guests were left with no signal. The ceremony was about to start and most guests had not arrived at the ceremony site. Finally a guest was able to contact the bride and let her know the situation.

The few guests that had made it to the ceremony on their own immediately jumped up to go pick up all the guests from the stuck bus and transport them to the ceremony. This is the perfect illustration of the real-family feel and true kindness of this family!

Once everyone arrived we began the ceremony, which was beautiful. I loved the romantic newlywed portraits we took the in vineyards. Their reception was also so fun - everyone danced all night! We ended the evening with a beautiful sparkler exit.
