A Greenbrier Resort Wedding - Lora & Ross
One Word: STUNNING! Lora & Ross’ Wedding at The Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs West Virginia was truly one for the books. This historic resort is nestled in the gorgeous Allegheny Mountains of West Virginia surrounded by breathtaking woods, cottages, and famed golf course. There are so many gorgeous rooms and luxurious, unique spaces for stately bridal portraits, it is truly a wedding photographer’s dream.
To make it even more magical, it was Christmastime at the Greenbrier! The grounds and resort interiors were decorated SO BEAUTIFULLY. The whole resort felt like walking through a Hallmark Movie.
The wedding party donned emerald floor length dresses, each bridemaid in a different style, and black suits for the groomsmen; so classic and fitting for the holidays. The bride wore Manolo Blahnik pumps (WOW!) & a stack of gorgeous rings, but my favorite accessory was her bridal cape; it was so unique, yet classic and stunning, and really photographed so well! Her bridal bouquet was made from luxurious orchids and winter white roses - SO romantic!
The bride had a first look surrounded by friends followed by the wedding ceremony in the beautifully decorated chapel. The chandeliers really added a layer of elegance and POP to their ceremony photos Lora opted for a rose petal toss to exit the chapel. It was darling!
At the reception I was immediately drawn to their cake, it was stunning! The vintage cake topper was a fun touch. I loved the mix and match of patterns and colors for the reception table settings. It felt very fun and unique, just like the resort, yet also very timeless. The whole room was just beautiful and really made a big visual impact!
The newlyweds entered into the reception and went straight to the Champagne tower where each of them got to pop the champagne bottle! The whole room was excited and everyone was cheering. It was a REALLY fun way to get the party started!
The live band kept the party going _ the dance floor never let up! Everyone danced all night long. Lora even got up on stage with the band - she looked like star and the crowd went wild!
We closed the night with some mini grilled cheese & tomato soup cups as late night snack. It was a charming touch on a whirlwind day!
