Plantation on Sunnybrook Wedding - Alix & Wes

Alix and Wes got married at The Plantation on Sunnybrook wedding venue in Roanoke, VA. It was a beautiful fall day! I met these two at their engagement session earlier in the year and had so much fun. They are so goofy together, but absolutely smitten. I love when I’m able to capture a couple’s playful side as well as the romantic side and let me tell you – these two are SO sweet and romantic!

Alix had so many beautiful details planned throughout the day, but I think my favorite was her custom made jacket. The back had a custom drawing of their cat (fur child!) on it and she surprised Wes with it. We even took a little trip to their apartment to get a few pictures with Captain! The day was filled with tones of red and white, beautiful florals, and delicious cupcakes!

The reception at Sunnybrook was a blast! Everyone danced the night away outside under the pavilion. Alix and Wes had so many friends and family surrounding them, loving them, and just supporting them in every way – it was so beautiful to see!
