The Glen On Glenburn Farms Wedding

Bailey & Jake’s wedding day at Glenburn Farms in Vinton, Virginia was absolutely gorgeous in every way! This beautiful couple is so full of heart and you could feel their love for each other weaved throughout the entire day - not even a hurricane could stop this wedding!

We began the day at Bailey’s family lake house where the bridal party got ready for the big day! I was in love with the giant windows as it makes for such great lighting. The champagne sequin bridesmaid dresses were so classic and glam, and were such fun to photograph! The gowns paired nicely with the rich jewel toned and dusty rose florals - perfect bouquets for fall! The groomsmen looked very sharp in classic black suits, a timeless look that always looks great in photos!

Bailey’s first look with her dad was SO emotional and sweet. I definitely teared up!

The bride and groom wrote letters to each other before the ceremony - another emotional moment for all! Wedding Day love letters are always a meaningful memory and keepsake. I love to capture this moment!

The wild weather made us all a little nervous about flooding, high winds, and power outages. Though they had planned an outdoor ceremony, they rolled with the punches and moved the ceremony site indoors. The setting was beautiful still, with lovely string lights, dreamy ivory fabric draping from the high vaulted ceiling, and large windows that poured in amazing natural light.

After the ceremony the rain finally cleared out and we were able to take some outdoor wedding portraits. It was cloudy and misty -which added a layer of romance - but we were thrilled to use the beautiful grounds as a backdrop for their newlywed photos like they had originally planned!

The reception was A PARTY! Everyone danced and sang all night long with glow sticks. The rain reappeared for their sparkler exit, but we made it work and it turned out so romantic.
